• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week option
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Schedule Type: Self-scheduling
• Float Requirement: Within scope to like units as needed
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact license eligible before start
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Comfort with floating to similar units within scope
• Ability to support a patient ratio of 1:6 on days, nights, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg patients during night shifts
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Administer medications and manage treatments in accordance with care plans
• Support patients requiring telemetry, wound care, IV therapy, and other common medical-surgical interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response resources
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team
• Float within scope to comparable units based on facility needs
• Promote a positive patient experience while working in a team-oriented hospital environment
