• Location: Pocatello, Idaho
• Setting: Progressive Care / Stepdown / Telemetry
• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,700 - $1,790
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Patient Ratios: 1:3 to 1:4
• Charting System: Epic
• Unit Size: 24 beds
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU, stepdown, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Comfort caring for patients with heart failure, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, renal failure, respiratory failure, CABG, and TAVR
• Ability to manage a patient load of 1:3 to 1:4
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced progressive care nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care for progressive care patients with complex and changing needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and support patients receiving cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
• Perform blood product administration and central line care/management
• Support non-invasive airway management including BIPAP, CPAP, HHF, and IPPB
• Assist with emergent cardioversion and central line placement as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, physical therapy, and rapid response services
• Deliver safe, compassionate acute care nursing while responding to rapid changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team
