• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 - $1,580

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a busy acute care setting
• Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and varied patient care needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and thoroughly
• Manage care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, COPD, confusion/AMS, diabetes, AKI, trauma, respiratory failure, bowel obstruction, and post-op needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Prioritize patient needs and respond effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Float as needed based on competencies and unit needs
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional care
