Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Healthcare Setting: Acute care, telemetry / med-surg float
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
• Schedule Notes: Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weekend requirement; floating as needed
• Charting System: EPIC
• Location: Lewes, DE 19958

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or similar acute care nursing experience
• Experience with PCU and telemetry patients
• Strong cardiac drip experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends
• Comfortable floating as needed within the unit setting
• Experience using EPIC preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in an acute care environment
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and other higher-acuity interventions
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for patients with varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in EPIC
• Support float needs within the unit as assigned
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and strong communication in a fast-paced healthcare setting
