Join a dynamic critical care team in Hyannis, Massachusetts, a scenic Cape Cod coastal community known for its beautiful beaches, harbor views, and welcoming New England charm. This 13-week travel Registered Nurse assignment offers the opportunity to provide high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care in a fast-paced ICU environment, with a rotating schedule and the chance to broaden your critical care nursing experience.

- Position: Travel CVICU Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Schedule: Every other weekend and rotating holidays
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,580 - $2,720
- Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Environment: Primarily ICU with float needs to CVICU and, as needed, Med/Surg Tele
Job Requirements
- Prior critical care experience required
- CVICU experience required
- Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to complete required pharmacology and basic arrhythmia assessments
- Prior charge nurse experience and critical care specialty certification are a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor patient responses to medications and therapies in a critical care setting
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and discharge needs accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and ancillary staff to support coordinated care
- Serve as a resource and may assume charge nurse responsibilities when needed
- Utilize computerized nursing systems effectively to support documentation and communication
- Follow all safety, blood/body fluid, and infection prevention policies and procedures
- Support orientation, teaching, and ongoing quality improvement efforts
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism
