- Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (CVOR RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Athens, GA 30606

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
- Shift Duration: 10 hours
- Shifts Per Week: 4
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Call Schedule: Every third weekend and 1 to 2 days per week; holiday coverage may be requested
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; CVOR experience or perioperative nursing experience strongly preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Comfort working in a cardiovascular surgery and operating room environment
- Ability to participate in call rotation and support weekend coverage as needed
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus
Responsibilities
- Support the cardiovascular operating room team during surgical procedures
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and equipment for cases
- Assist with circulating and/or scrub duties based on assignment needs
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient perioperative environment
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changing clinical needs
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to ensure smooth case flow
- Document care accurately and follow established clinical protocols
