Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (CVOR RN)

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Shift Duration: 10 hours
Shifts Per Week: 4
Hours Per Week: 40
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
Call Schedule: Every third weekend and 1 to 2 days per week; holiday coverage may be requested

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; CVOR experience or perioperative nursing experience strongly preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Comfort working in a cardiovascular surgery and operating room environment
Ability to participate in call rotation and support weekend coverage as needed
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus

Responsibilities

Support the cardiovascular operating room team during surgical procedures
Prepare the operating room, instruments, and equipment for cases
Assist with circulating and/or scrub duties based on assignment needs
Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient perioperative environment
Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changing clinical needs
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to ensure smooth case flow
Document care accurately and follow established clinical protocols
