Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• ENPC, TNCC, or TNS preferred for emergency nursing roles
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and care team members

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
• Assess patients, monitor outcomes, and adjust nursing care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to support safe patient flow
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care addressing physical, psychosocial, and communication needs
• Communicate promptly with ED physicians regarding patient status changes and diagnostic results
• Respond effectively to urgent and changing clinical situations in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Maintain professional accountability and support high-quality emergency nursing care
