Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care or hospital setting
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and maintain strong attendance
  • Willingness to adapt quickly in a busy medical-surgical nursing environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients
  • Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate updates promptly
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the medical record
  • Promote patient safety and uphold high standards of clinical care
  • Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a fast-paced acute care setting
