• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 10, 2026
• Location: Wilson, NC 27893
• Patient Population: All ages
• EMR: Meditech experience preferred
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,800 to $1,890

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care or hospital emergency department setting
• Strong teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and adaptability
• Ability to float as needed based on assignment requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients experiencing respiratory distress, overdoses, CHF, dialysis-related concerns, hypertension, and other acute diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to support timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and support workflow in the electronic health record
• Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize care in a busy, high-acuity ED environment
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellent patient outcomes
