Job Details

• Position: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Location: Tomball, TX
• Work Setting: Cardiovascular surgery operating room
• Healthcare Area: Greater Houston / Northwest Houston, Texas
• On-Call Support: May be asked to provide 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of relevant RN experience preferred
• Experience in cardiovascular surgery, perioperative nursing, or operating room nursing
• Ability to support scrub and assistive OR functions for cardiovascular and general surgery cases
• BLS certification required
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, dependable attitude
• Comfort working in a fast-paced surgical environment with varying case complexity

Responsibilities

• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, femoral bypass, and thrombectomy cases
• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Assist with general surgery and additional specialty cases as needed
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, surgical technologists, and OR staff to ensure smooth case flow
• Maintain a high standard of patient safety, sterility, and clinical readiness
• Participate in on-call coverage when assigned to support urgent or emergency cases
• Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on quality patient care
