• Schedule: Night shift
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• References from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the same specialty from the past 12 months
• Required certifications must be active and available at submission
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, acute care nursing, and medical-surgical patient care strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to medical-surgical telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes that require timely intervention
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and provider orders
• Perform patient assessments, document findings, and communicate updates to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to support coordinated care
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Maintain strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, and patient safety throughout the shift
