Job Details
- Setting: IMC/ICU with float support to ICU, ED, and Med Surg as needed
- Shift: Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (3x12)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770 - $1,860
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend; 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
- Patient Census: Average daily census of 9
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Charting System: Cerner
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
- Minimum of 1 completed travel nurse assignment required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability to pass a Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR documentation
- Comfort with rotating day/night shifts and weekend coverage
- Strong critical care assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity acute care hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in IMC and ICU settings
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in condition for cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU patients
- Manage telemetry, cardiac drips, non-titratable drips, ventilator and tracheostomy support, and other critical care therapies
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate interventions with the interdisciplinary care team
- Support patients requiring HFNC, dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and advanced respiratory care
- Float to ICU, ED, and Med Surg as needed to meet patient care needs
- Maintain accurate charting and follow unit workflows, safety standards, and clinical best practices
