This 13-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for an experienced Emergency Room nurse who thrives in a dynamic emergency department environment and is confident caring for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. The unit supports a high-volume ED with strong interdisciplinary resources and a well-rounded clinical team.

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Alternating 3x12 and 4x12 day schedules; 36/48-hour alternating pattern
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Setting: Emergency Department / CDU
• Charting System: Epic experience preferred
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Orientation: 48 hours
• Openings: 3

Job Requirements

• 3 years of emergency nursing experience preferred
• 2 years of experience may be considered if you have worked in a high-volume, fast-paced, or trauma setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current RN license in hand before start
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS required
• Nursys verification required with submission
• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of accepting the offer
• RTO must be submitted with application
• Experience supporting a patient ratio of 4:1
• Epic charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department environment
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Support care for a broad range of emergency, urgent, and trauma-related conditions
• Perform and monitor interventions such as IV starts, blood product administration, medication administration, and ongoing patient reassessment
• Assist with advanced emergency procedures and monitoring, including airway support, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia management
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient patient flow and quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinical environment
• Respond to the needs of a high-volume department while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
