  • Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
  • Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
  • Setting: Acute care ICU/PCU combination unit
  • Weekend Requirement: Usually every other weekend, based on unit needs
  • Floating: Floating between ICU and PCU patients within the unit

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • NIHSS required
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Targeted Temperature Management experience using Thermoguard/Zoll strongly preferred
  • Ability to titrate ICU drips and interpret telemetry
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, team-oriented critical care environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to critically ill ICU and PCU patients
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition
  • Titrate vasoactive, sedative, and other ICU drips per protocol
  • Manage ventilated patients and support respiratory treatments as needed
  • Assist with common ICU procedures and interventions, including care for patients requiring TTM support
  • Collaborate closely with the charge nurse, intensivist, hospitalist, and respiratory therapy team
  • Float between ICU and PCU assignments within the unit based on patient needs
  • Document accurately in EPIC and maintain high standards of safety and communication
