Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, patient-focused environment
• Comfort working with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Meditech experience is a plus
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to take ownership of the role

Med/Surg Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe, efficient patient outcomes
• Float as needed to support patient care needs across the unit
• Contribute to a positive, dependable, and patient-centered care environment
