Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry, step-down, or intermediate care nursing experience
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and time-management skills
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled
• Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable team player

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
• Assess patients regularly and respond promptly to changes in cardiac rhythm or clinical status
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions thoroughly and on time
• Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered intermediate care environment
