Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required; 4-5 years preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- Experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Active New York RN license and all active RN licenses verified through Nursys
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Resume must document relevant ICU experience and travel nursing history
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Manage complex therapies and specialty equipment, including CRRT, IABP, and ventilatory support
- Support care for a wide range of diagnoses, including neuro, medical, cardiac, surgical, and trauma cases
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, effective treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC and follow established nursing protocols
- Float to approved units when needed to support patient care needs
- Deliver professional, patient-centered care in a high-acuity critical care environment
