Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the ICU or specialty critical care setting
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • AHA ACLS certification required
  • Preferred certifications: CCRN and NIHSS
  • Experience with Cerner General Medical Surgical ICU preferred
  • Strong critical care assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality bedside care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor patient status, interpret changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Administer medications and therapies according to ICU protocols
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient unit workflow during night shifts
