Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing or emergency department experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS and PALS may be required based on unit needs
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and emergency care best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical setting
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families in the emergency department
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Support timely treatment for adult and pediatric patients across a wide range of emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary care team members to optimize outcomes
• Maintain clear documentation and uphold patient privacy and compliance standards
• Operate common clinical equipment and monitoring devices as part of routine care delivery
• Contribute to a professional, team-oriented environment focused on quality, safety, and patient-centered care
