Job Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Willoughby, Ohio
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
• Setting: 22-bed Emergency Service Department with a Supertrack area
• Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients across the lifespan
• Clinical Environment: Level III trauma center, stroke center, and chest pain center

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS may be required based on clinical needs
• Strong understanding of the nursing process and emergency care practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
• Comfort using a variety of clinical tools and patient monitoring equipment
• Ability to maintain professionalism while handling protected health information

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, age-specific emergency nursing care to patients and families
• Implement the nursing process to support assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Deliver relationship-based nursing care with a focus on patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, emergency medicine providers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care delivery
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and sound clinical judgment in the emergency setting
• Use nursing equipment and monitoring devices to meet patient needs and prescribed therapies
• Support a culture of clear communication, teamwork, and professional practice
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and responsive Emergency Department environment
