• Schedule: Night shift, 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,950 - $2,060
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Patient Ratios: 3 on days, 2 on nights, 3 on weekends
• Schedule Type: Block scheduling
• Weekend Coverage: Every weekend
• On-Call: Not required
• Floating: May be required based on assignment needs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required
• At least 2 years of emergency nursing experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Experience in a general ED serving combined adult and pediatric patients
• Strong charting system experience required
• Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department
• Must be comfortable working nights and every weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as indicated
• Monitor patients with respiratory, cardiac, neurological, traumatic, and behavioral health concerns
• Support procedures such as intubation assistance, chest tube management, and blood product administration
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient care
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility standards
• Promote a calm, organized, and patient-centered environment during high-volume shifts
