Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Experience in med-surg, emergency, observation, swing bed, or similar inpatient settings preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current TNCC certification required
• AHA Procedural Sedation Module required
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-acuity environment
• Previous travel nurse or rural healthcare experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality acute care nursing across med-surg, ED, and outpatient infusion areas
• Provide patient care for common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, UTI, altered mental status, failure to thrive, and post-operative orthopedic needs
• Support a patient census that may include med-surg beds, ER beds, and varied acute care admissions
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changing patient conditions with professionalism and confidence
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Document care accurately in Athena and maintain strong attention to detail
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a setting that values teamwork, adaptability, and clinical excellence
