• Call Requirement: Minimum 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of CVOR, operating room, or surgical nursing experience
• Experience in cardiovascular nursing, thoracic surgery, or perioperative care preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility to participate in assigned call coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing support in the cardiovascular operating room
• Assist with preoperative preparation, intraoperative care, and patient safety
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members
• Maintain sterile technique and support efficient operating room flow
• Respond to call coverage needs according to the schedule
• Deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
