• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Schedule: Day shift with flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700 - $2,840

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience, including postpartum and newborn care
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO certification
• NRP certification
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring required, or RNC-EFM may be accepted in place of AWHONN FHM
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments when qualified and competent to do so
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and flexibility in a fast-paced maternity care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Support families with newborns rooming-in with mothers
• Assist with an average of 40 deliveries per month and about 6 C-sections per month
• Care for postpartum rooms and newborn care needs with attention to safety, comfort, and quality outcomes
• May serve as charge nurse after training, as needed
• Float to other qualified departments when assigned
• Collaborate with the care team to promote excellent patient outcomes and a positive family experience
