• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Start Date: 8/7/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience supporting orthopedic and neurology patient populations preferred
• Education verification required
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients with orthopedic and neurology needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards and physician orders
• Complete accurate and timely nursing assessments, documentation, and patient monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Support patient safety, quality outcomes, and a positive patient experience
• Participate in unit improvement efforts and collaborate effectively across departments
