- Setting: 25-bed Med/Surg unit
- Location: Tulsa, OK
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Shifts per Week: 3 shifts per week
- Schedule Options: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
- Charting System: Epic preferred
- Float Requirement: Yes, within scope
Job Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- 1+ year of Med/Surg nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
- BLS certification required
- Epic experience preferred
- Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Ability to work nights and every other weekend
- Willingness to float to like units within scope as needed
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care for mixed medical-surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate concerns promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
- Support wound care and other common Med/Surg interventions
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document accurately in the electronic health record
- Maintain compliance with unit routines, patient ratios, and float expectations
- Deliver reliable, compassionate care throughout the night shift
