Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Travel Nurse Jobs in Albuquerque, NM | Night Shift

Job Details

Setting: Labor & Delivery
Location: Albuquerque, NM 87109
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Weekly Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week option
Weekend Requirement: 4-6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
Orientation: 36 hours
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,880-$1,980

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required; pending certifications may be considered
Strong charting system experience required
Experience with antepartum, triage, high-risk deliveries, vaginal delivery support, and C-section recovery
Ability to work collaboratively in a patient-centered, fast-moving healthcare environment
Experience with fetal monitoring and obstetrical patient care

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery
Assist with high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections
Perform triage assessments for obstetrical patients
Monitor fetal status using external fetal monitoring and EFM equipment
Support antepartum care, recover C-section patients, and maintain safe, compassionate care throughout the shift
Collaborate with respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams as needed
Float to like units within scope when facility needs require it
