- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts; every other weekend required
- Charting System: Epic
- Start Date: September 9, 2026
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or acute care Registered Nurse experience
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients preferred
- Comfort working in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit with a variety of diagnoses
- Epic charting experience required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
- Ability to support patients with behavioral, cognitive, and mobility challenges
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective bedside nursing care for Med/Surg patients
- Care for a mixed patient population, including long length-of-stay and acute medical patients
- Monitor patient conditions, complete assessments, and update care plans each shift
- Administer medications and treatments according to patient needs and clinical standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient outcomes
- Float to comparable medical-surgical units as needed within scope
- Support patients requiring assistance with mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort measures
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and promote a safe, positive patient experience
