- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
- Schedule: Nights with weekends as scheduled
- Charting System: EPIC
- Setting: Acute care environment with observation and telemetry support
- Orientation: 2 days total, including computer training and floor shadowing
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent RN experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Experience with set-rate Cardizem and Amiodarone preferred
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-turnover acute care environment
- Ability to adapt quickly and float within skillset as needed
- Valid driver’s license must be provided with submission
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for PACU, observation, and post-procedural patients
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Support patients with common diagnoses such as chest pain rule-outs, COPD, CHF, arrhythmias, pacers, and post-cath care
- Administer and manage set-rate drips as assigned, including Cardizem and Amiodarone
- Assist with routine unit tasks and collaborate closely with the healthcare team
- Deliver efficient, compassionate care in a fast-paced unit with a strong emphasis on teamwork
- Float to other areas within scope of practice when needed
