• Setting: Acute care environment with observation and telemetry support
• Orientation: 2 days total, including computer training and floor shadowing

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Experience with set-rate Cardizem and Amiodarone preferred
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-turnover acute care environment
• Ability to adapt quickly and float within skillset as needed
• Valid driver’s license must be provided with submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for PACU, observation, and post-procedural patients
• Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support patients with common diagnoses such as chest pain rule-outs, COPD, CHF, arrhythmias, pacers, and post-cath care
• Administer and manage set-rate drips as assigned, including Cardizem and Amiodarone
• Assist with routine unit tasks and collaborate closely with the healthcare team
• Deliver efficient, compassionate care in a fast-paced unit with a strong emphasis on teamwork
• Float to other areas within scope of practice when needed
