Job Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery
• Setting: Hospital-based Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
• Location: Brigham City, Utah
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts one week and 2 shifts the next, 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: 1 call shift per week, with potential for 2 calls on lighter weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
• Floating: Occasional sitter coverage in ED or Med/Surg
• EMR: Meditech and CPN

Job Requirements

• Labor & Delivery experience required
• Nursery experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-focused care in a maternity nursing environment
• Preferred experience with C-section care
• Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and CEFM or AWHONN fetal monitoring
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call assignments as scheduled
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to ask questions and support coworkers

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum mothers
• Support deliveries, recovery, and couplet care in a busy hospital maternity unit
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately using strong fetal monitoring skills
• Assist with newborn assessments and screenings, including CCHD, metabolic screening, bilirubin, and hearing checks
• Collaborate closely with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary care team to maintain safe, efficient unit flow
• Provide care for patients in a 2:1 labor ratio and 4:1 couplet ratio environment
• Contribute to a positive team culture by remaining adaptable, dependable, and helpful
