• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• On-Call: Not required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Float Areas: All inpatient units including ICU and ED
• EMR: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry, step-down, or progressive care experience
• Strong neuro and trauma nursing experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS required
• NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
• Comfortable caring for patients with bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow support, chronic vents, and subdural drains

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care, neuro, and trauma patients
• Monitor and assess patients with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1
• Manage telemetry step-down patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with common unit procedures including chest tubes and EEGs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe patient outcomes
• Float to other inpatient units, including ICU and ED, as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient needs clearly during shift handoffs
