Join a dedicated Maternal Child Health team in Ithaca, NY, in the beautiful Finger Lakes region. This 13-week postpartum nursing travel assignment is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a collaborative, family-focused unit.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580-$2,720
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Postpartum nursing experience required
- Ability to independently care for mother/baby couplets
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a Maternal Child Health, postpartum, or mother-baby setting
- Strong assessment skills and the ability to recognize changes in patient condition quickly
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
- Excellent communication, patient education, and family support skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a mother-baby unit
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor physical, emotional, and educational needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
- Support and educate patients and families throughout the postpartum experience
- Prioritize care for mother/baby couplets and respond appropriately to changing patient needs
- Collaborate with unit leadership and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote safe, high-quality care
- Maintain current knowledge of postpartum nursing practices, policies, and standards
- Serve as a resource to peers and contribute to a positive, supportive unit culture
