Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
• At least 1 year of recent PACU or post-anesthesia care experience
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to monitor patients safely during recovery
• Comfort working overnight shifts in a fast-paced acute care or perioperative nursing environment
• Ability to complete required onboarding, screening, and compliance documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality PACU nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and procedural sedation
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall patient stability during post-op recovery
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to support safe recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology teams, and other care providers to ensure smooth patient transitions
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure recovery expectations and discharge readiness
• Maintain a calm, compassionate approach while caring for a wide range of post-operative patients
