• Shift: 10-hour nights
• Schedule: Every other weekend rotation, with scheduling based on unit needs
• Setting: High-acuity Labor & Delivery unit with antepartum and postpartum support

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license and eligibility to work in Washington State
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience; previous travel nurse experience preferred, 5+ years preferred
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Intermediate FHM (AWHONN) certification required
• EPIC experience required
• Experience caring for high-acuity OB patients, including triage, labor management, and delivery
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients
• Triaging OB patients and prioritizing care based on acuity
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart monitoring strips and respond appropriately to changes
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, including C-sections and vaginal births
• Circulate in the OR as needed
• Perform cervical checks and support labor progression assessment
• Provide newborn support and recovery assistance when needed
• Document care accurately in EPIC and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
