Job Requirements

  • Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of registered nurse experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Ability to complete required Relias exams with a successful passing score prior to start
  • Strong skills in trach care and step-down nursing
  • Ability to work within an 80-mile radius requirement
  • Comfortable working night shifts in a high-acuity environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring PCU and step-down level support
  • Monitor and manage central lines, respiratory status, and tracheotomy patients
  • Perform IV starts, peripheral lab draws, and arterial blood draws as needed
  • Administer and monitor intravenous drips including cardiac, insulin, and heparin infusions
  • Collaborate with the nursing assistant and medical team to deliver coordinated patient care
  • Maintain safe, accurate documentation and support patient-focused care plans
  • Respond to changing patient needs and assist with bedside monitoring in a dynamic healthcare setting
