• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Setting: Acute care, Level I trauma center
• Location: Boston, MA 02111
• Duration: 13-week travel nursing assignment
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Schedule: Days or evenings, with weekend rotation and call requirements
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• Start Date: August 9, 2026
• Charting System: EPIC
• Openings: 3

Job Requirements

• 1+ year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• Prior experience in a Level I trauma center strongly preferred
• Experience with scrubbing and/or circulating neuro, ortho, and trauma cases
• BLS certification required
• Travel RN experience preferred
• Active RN license eligible for submission
• Ability to work rotating weekends and participate in call rotation
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-acuity surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Assist with circulating and/or scrubbing procedures as needed
• Support surgical teams during neuro, ortho, trauma, cardiac, and exploratory laparotomy cases
• Collaborate with charge nurses and perioperative staff to maintain smooth OR flow
• Follow established protocols for patient safety, documentation, and infection prevention
• Participate in weekend rotation, weekday call, and scheduled coverage as assigned
• Maintain flexibility within a self-scheduling environment as available
