Join a fast-paced Emergency Department team in Pasadena, Texas, near Houston, for a 13-week travel nursing assignment. Job Details

• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Travel Nurse
• Location: Pasadena, TX 77504 - Houston area
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Alternate weekends
• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Patient Acuity: 1-5 depending on acuity
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• EMR: Meditech, transitioning to Expanse

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Experience managing trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis cases
• Required certifications: ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and CPI with TIC
• NRP and STABLE preferred
• Adult and pediatric ED experience preferred
• Flexible, accountable, responsible, and team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
• Support rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of emergent conditions
• Respond to complex cases including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures such as arterial lines, MTP, and thoracotomy support
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Float to free-standing ED locations as needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment while upholding unit standards and policies
