• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or PCU
• Active Ohio RN license or active compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a passing score
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a high-acuity cardiac nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care to cardiac stepdown patients
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and support treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the medical record
• Support recovery and discharge planning while promoting positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach during night shift operations
