Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Fairmont, West Virginia
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts rotating between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Call: No call required
• Weekends/Holidays: No weekend or holiday requirement
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of OR circulating experience preferred
• Strong experience with total joints and ENT required
• Experience circulating across multiple service lines is highly valued
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Comfortable working in an acute care operating room and perioperative environment
• Ability to adapt to a rotating day-shift schedule with occasional stay-late coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating RN support in the operating room
• Assist with a variety of surgical cases, including total joints, ENT, urology, podiatry, hand, plastics, and pacemakers
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical support staff to ensure smooth case flow
• Maintain safe, efficient, and patient-centered perioperative care
• Support operating room readiness and help keep procedures on schedule
• Document accurately in Epic OpTime
• Participate in a brief orientation and integrate quickly into the surgical team
• Stay late when scheduled as cases require
