Job Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license required by the start date
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced, high-turnover Emergency Department environment
- Ability to work night shift nursing schedules and maintain reliable attendance
- Comfort working in a team-oriented acute care and hospital setting
- Must be able to arrive the Thursday before start for onboarding and employee health appointment
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients with a wide range of acuity levels
- Monitor and assess patients in trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac monitoring areas
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely, effective patient care
- Respond quickly to changing patient conditions in a busy emergency room and acute care setting
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
- Support a culture of teamwork, safety, and compassionate patient care
