• Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation
• Weekend Requirement: Occasional weekends may be required
• Float Requirement: May assist with inpatient holds as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Arizona RN license or compact RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• 1+ year of travel nursing experience preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and occasional weekends
• Flexible, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support the unit
• Comfort working with adult, geriatric, and occasional pediatric patients

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality Registered Nurse care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting
• Assess, monitor, and support patients with telemetry, surgical, and general medical needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient-centered care
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system
• Support a 6:1 patient ratio in a 34-bed Medical Surgical unit
• Maintain a professional, adaptable approach while assisting the unit as needed
