- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460-$1,540
- Schedule: Rotating weekends
- Unit Size: 19 beds
- Floating: All PCU and Med/Surg areas
- EMR: Meditech
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent acute care or PCU nursing experience preferred
- Charge nurse experience strongly preferred
- PCU nursing competency required
- Neuro competency preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to float to other PCU and Med/Surg units as needed
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the care team to support safe patient outcomes
- Support unit flow and assist with charge responsibilities when needed
- Document accurately in the Meditech EMR system
- Maintain professional standards while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Adapt to floating assignments within PCU and Med/Surg as needed
