- Position: PACU Registered Nurse
- Location: Ithaca, NY 14850
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Shift Schedule: Varied day shifts, including 6a-6p, 7a-7p, 8a-8p, and 9a-9p
- On-Call Requirement: Approximately 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call per 8-week period, with call needs adjusted based on staffing
- Setting: Pre-op / PACU, perioperative recovery environment

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage post-anesthesia patients and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Ability to work varied shifts and participate in the on-call schedule
- Current compliance with required onboarding documentation and screenings
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in the pre-op and PACU setting
- Monitor patients closely during recovery from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Assess vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall post-operative condition
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative team members to support smooth patient flow
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure thorough handoff communication
- Respond appropriately to post-op complications and escalating clinical needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and support a patient-centered recovery experience
