Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Experience caring for critically ill adult patients requiring mechanical ventilation
• Experience titrating vasoactive medications and sedatives in a surgical ICU or critical care setting
• Proficiency with central lines, arterial lines, complex wound care, and drain management
• EPIC charting and clinical documentation experience required
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-acuity, fast-paced Surgical ICU environment
• CCRN, TNCC, or other specialty critical care certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult Surgical ICU patients with complex and evolving needs
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Manage ventilators, drips, invasive lines, wounds, and drains with precision and attention to detail
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EPIC
• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a setting that values education, safety, and excellence
