Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- Experience caring for critically ill adult patients requiring mechanical ventilation
- Experience titrating vasoactive medications and sedatives in a surgical ICU or critical care setting
- Proficiency with central lines, arterial lines, complex wound care, and drain management
- EPIC charting and clinical documentation experience required
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-acuity, fast-paced Surgical ICU environment
- CCRN, TNCC, or other specialty critical care certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to adult Surgical ICU patients with complex and evolving needs
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Manage ventilators, drips, invasive lines, wounds, and drains with precision and attention to detail
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EPIC
- Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal outcomes
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a setting that values education, safety, and excellence
