Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg, telemetry, or acute inpatient rehab nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Strong background in adult and geriatric patient care
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and maintain a 5:1 patient ratio
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for adult and geriatric rehab patients
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and manage anticoagulation, insulin, diuretics, and other therapies
• Perform wound care, catheter care, IV management, blood draws, and oxygen therapy as needed
• Support mobility, fall prevention, and patient safety initiatives in an acute care setting
• Care for patients with complex needs, including stroke, seizure disorders, tracheostomies, PEG tubes, and feeding devices
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team including therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Document care accurately in Epic and contribute to a positive patient experience
