Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience in a large-volume, high-acuity setting
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications
- Epic EMR experience required
- Strong triage skills and the ability to pass a hospital triage test
- Experience with trauma, code cases, and complex emergency patient care
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not being considered
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled acute care nursing in a busy Emergency Department with diverse patient needs
- Triage and prioritize patients safely and efficiently based on acuity
- Administer medications, manage drips, and support blood product administration
- Assist with trauma, stroke, cardiac, behavioral health, and substance use disorder cases
- Set up chest tubes and arterial lines as needed
- Support airway and respiratory interventions, including BiPAP and ventilator management
- Deliver compassionate, timely patient care while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
