Bring your Telemetry Registered Nurse expertise to a dynamic acute care travel nursing opportunity in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts and provides the chance to care for post-cardiac cath, post-surgical, and respiratory patients who require close monitoring and skilled telemetry nursing support.

Job Requirements
- Active New Mexico RN license or current compact state RN license
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- Current ACLS certification from AHA
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient prioritization skills
- Comfortable caring for patients on cardiac and respiratory monitoring
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to telemetry and acute care patients
- Complete initial assessments and establish patient priorities based on symptoms and clinical needs
- Monitor, reassess, and respond to changes in patient condition that require intervention
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Administer and monitor patients receiving high-risk medications and IV drips
- Care for post-cardiac cath and post-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Support patients requiring noninvasive respiratory assistance such as BiPAP and AirVo
- Document interventions, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed
- Provide patient and family education, including discharge planning support
- Perform point-of-care testing and other unit-based clinical procedures as needed
