Job Details

• Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing Assignment
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Hours: 36 hours per week; typically 3 shifts per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN license or current compact state RN license
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• TNCC certification required
• CPI / De-Escalation certification required
• NIH certification required
• PALS certification required
• Additional certifications may be required based on floating assignments
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care in telemetry and float unit settings
• Complete initial nursing assessments and prioritize care based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Monitor telemetry patients closely and respond to changes in condition or trends that require intervention
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Document nursing interventions accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform point-of-care testing procedures as assigned
• Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and care coordination
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive patient experience
• Adapt to changing patient needs, unit assignments, and floating requirements as needed
