• Position: Mother/Baby Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600

Job Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• Labor and delivery nursing experience required
• Couplet care experience preferred
• Experience in nursery, postpartum, LDRP, or Mother/Baby settings preferred
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring experience required
• Ability to adapt in a rural community hospital environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate Mother/Baby nursing care for mothers and newborns in labor and delivery, nursery, postpartum, and LDRP care areas
• Support couplet care and monitor the well-being of both parent and baby
• Perform fetal monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Assist with charge nurse duties when assigned
• Collaborate with the care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Float to assist other departments as needed, without serving as a primary nurse in those areas
• Deliver high-quality care in a dynamic, patient-centered healthcare environment
