Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience
• 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Availability to work at least every other holiday
• Must be able to complete required background check and fingerprinting steps within the required timeframe

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity, symptoms, and clinical need
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes in status or emergencies
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support timely patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support a patient-centered, efficient, and team-oriented ED environment
